Under current Maryland law, the primary election for 2016 is scheduled for April 5, 364 days from today. Recognizing that having a now very active primary election less than a week before sine die would be an insane idea, the General Assembly has been fast-tracking a bill to move the primary to April 26. The Senate bill - SB204 - has passed second reading in the House and awaits a final third reader vote. The House bill - HB396 - passed third reader in the Senate today, 47-0, and will go to the governor for signature.
I think we can officially reset the clock. 364385 days to go.
