Takoma Park Ballot Question Passes

Takoma Park voters overwhelmingly approved an advisory ballot question directing the City Council to pursue aligning city elections with presidential and gubernatorial elections. Takoma Park has different voter lists than does the county board of elections due to different qualifications for voting. The vote in favor of the question was 1872-385.

Peter Kovar Running In TP Ward 1

Got an email from fellow progressive activist Peter Kovar that he is running for the Ward 1 council seat in Takoma Park being vacated by Seth Grimes.
