My Facebook feed tells me today is Maryland Day. 381 years ago, two ships landed on St. Clement’s Island in St. Mary’s County to establish what became our fair state.
I’ve lived in this state for 25 years and I’m pretty sure this is the first I’ve heard of it. Always something new to learn - not just political rumors and gossip and stale food. Happy Maryland Day to all who celebrate.
